Hi, I gotta pub with 6 letting rooms would be welcome to look after you. (Discounted Biker rates apply.) The road outside my doorstep was featured on the "Bike Tour of Britain" recently & hopefully some of the other Fuds on this site will back up my claims to some of the best roads in the country through Snowdonia & Mid Wales en Route to Englandshire.

P.s There's a few other Damned Fans round about here as well.

Rico's up there somewhere in the middle of nowhere, near Aberdeen I think. Suggest you think about joining Tuonoworld forum. There's alittle map where you can stick a flag into showing where you are in the country. A lot of people post on both. namely the waifs & strays who've got too much time on their hands.

Hi Tricky,
..... Yup, I moved here for the roads, but other bikers seem to be a bit thin on the ground. Looks like my rides will be three dayers with BB if I want to hang out with folks.
Otherwise, drop up and I will get the kettle on before heading out to Durness.:thumbup

You moved for the roads? FFS, I wouldn't start saying that in Thurso, you'll just get Berty Bogie after ye. I'm from Thurso, and there used to be loads of bikers, but there just isn't the people anymore. I can't believe you moved to Caithness solely for the roads anyway, nobody is that daft. Surely it was for a job or a wimmin.

I am completely round the twist actually, but you are sort of right as my good **** wanted to move here to be as far away from the shops as possible.
I am up the Strath.. Its a bit hard to get the bike out at the moment though. Are there many of us left up here?? What bike are you on Mac? I have an aprc Tuono and need a bigger screen.... Well up for a ride if it brightens up as I have heated grips and room on the back for a woodburner!
Who is Bertie Bogie.... does he have a blue light on his car as I dont like the sound of him.

Do they have tarmac on the roads that far up & if so what are they likme for pot holes. May even make it to Nesbittshire next years for an extended long weekend.

Roads are pretty awsome.
PM your email and I will send pics.
Mind you they are under snow at the momento...
I might move this conversation as I may have taken this thread the wrong way. Sorry Davy!

Key deciding factors for my move to current loction. 1.) Roads 2.) Shooting Big Boys Toys rule O.K :bwtiller

Bertie Bogie used to be a Polis in Thurso. "Loved" bikers. I don't live in Thurso anymore but I'm usually up a few times in the better weather.

No worries good to have a chat going as long as it bike rated!!!!! Will give you a shout tricky when ere sorted...

Bury Hill in Sussex is a good meet on a Sunday.
Hawes is good in't Yorkshire. When I get my new screen I will
Be up for a long frolic.
I had a feeling that BB was a policeman.
I usually go west though, good out there in the wilderness.
If anyone fancies a ride out here I know where the petrol is.
