just back from a little hoon to visit the mrs in hospital (saves parking costs, only responsible thing to do) and while it's a little bit slidey on the roads this morning, the bike was behaving itself much better than anything i've ridden since i abandoned trailies in the mid 90s (and that was a pegaso) is it the wide bars? or have i just been lucky so far?

either way frozen hands aside, it seems a good day for riding *touch wood*

not got the heated gear sussed yet then --- re gloves thread :yes

It arrived this afternoon - wired it in but no time to test with hospital visiting - will post a review tomorrow, but it's very toastie, at least stood next to the bike :)

You've been lucky. The bike is good, but all the torque will easily spin/slide the back wheel.

sliding is ok, it was doing a fair amount of that, i guess my point was that its easy to get back and stay upright - maybe as easy as the enduro bikes i've ridden, but certainly much better than the sports bikes that i've had (which when they went were gone)

probably gonna come a cropper now - this was a dangerous thread to start :)
