Im off to the TT 2009 and cant wait:doug and was wandering what is the maximum widthh i could put on the bike. The reason for asking is that i really need a 2 second tent, but they are 60 cm in diameter.

Anyother solutions for going camping on the 2000 rsv?

Here is an idea...book yerself into a nice pub room trackside...and camp out at the bar :D :thumbup :pirate then yer got it all at arms reach mate.

Its a new model the ***** sizometer :pirate
Just being camped at the pub..you can travel light with gear..use it as a base to go to other parts of the circuit without carting all yer campin crap etc...far more mobile and got a nice base to return to for a shower, feed and nice cool ales in the eve. :pirate

Enjoy the trip matey and have a safe one..would love to be there one day myself.
 
Wouldn't recommend camping, it'll pee down all the time your there.

Book a B & B now and save your sanity and money, be quick as they get booked up pretty quick.

I always camp. Their isn't a limit on how wide you can go, as long as you can fit in with the other bikes. I was wider than a Pan last year and I had it loaded up really heavy too.

Biggest problem is remebering your width when filtering
 
Am flying in for a day, had a choice of tt or a trip from Bilbao to Blighty so went for both:devious, 1 day @TT everything in 100 smackers, cant wait for both :biggrin
