I just measured my forks at the yokes, top and bottom (00' Mille R with Ohlins)....top - 51mm bottom - 56....I was sure at the top they were 53 as I saw a top yoke conversion from a 02 Tuono and the seller said they were (at the top) 53....they wont fit, or have measured wrong

ohlins are 51 and showa 53. I've heard you can shim the 53 to fit a 51 but not sure if that's best. Get a 51 if you can.

I would have thought they are quite hard to find. Why don't you get someone to modify a 51mm rsv top yoke (they must be easy to get) like nikfubar did?
...or you could just buy a Tuono

bizarely my 02 mille was 53mm showa and my 2010 V4 is 51mm showa
