Yet another V4 spy shot has appeared. I personally don't want a V4, no real reason, I just like my V2 T. I like V twins. Besides the engine change all the spy shots I've seen of the 'new' T it looks awfully small.
One of the things the T has got going for it is that it is a reasonable 2 up tourer. Not ace but I've done hundreds and hundreds of miles with Mrs N on the back and also loaded to the gunnels with camping tackle.
Look at all the new T pics. Where's it all gonna go ? WHERE'S SHE GONNA GO ?
IF thats the way the back end's gonna look and it probably will, thats nailed it for me. NO CHANCE.
I reckon if the new T looks like that ,with the same proportions of the Rsv4, Aprilia are making a massive mistake.
I bet 75-85% of T owners tour on the bike, like I do [weekends away with the lads, bsb,wsb etc] and a good persentage of that take a pillion occasionally.
The engine alone will not be different BUT the whole ethos of T ownership.
:banghead
Saying all this, I'll be keeping my current bike for a good while yet, but I just don't like what I'm seing and hearing.
