But a new bracket.
I'll take it to the local custom bikes place. He turns bikes into trikes so I reckon he's certainly got the tools to bend metal .
Thanks for the responses, all .
Get a price for an original and to be bent straight?
Fixed price frames are about £150 plus delivery. I'd be surprised if the auction finished far from that.
But yeah, will ask, certainly .
Second like is £136 all in. Make an offer??
This is probably from when it was hit by the car park barrier... :
I would be worrying about how that bracket got bent. Did the previous owner say owt ?
See above.
I'm not that concerned about it, Previous owner didn't say anything about it, but I'm of the "it's mine now, if there are any problems I'll sort em" mentality .
Given the lack of damage to anything else, I would guess that it fell against a wall or something. I've done that before with my NSR125.
He told you that he'd replaced the nose cone due to a barrier coming down on it, correct?
Clearly why/how the bracket bent.
Regardless yeah it is your problem. What's it look like now the mirror is bolted on correctly?
Watch out for cracking on the fairing....as it's now been mounted in a place it wasn't meant to be it could cause a stress fracture.
See above.
