I still think weeksy needs to try a Newono to see if he likes it better. There are several that are more than willing to let you have a go at the Gen II bike weeksy. Then you will know whether or not that you will have to go back to the 660. I'm thinking after you diddle the sprockets that you may have solved the problem.

Weeksy the 16/44 will transform your bike. I had a Tuoldo with the 17 tooth on and it was a lumpy as hell under 6K. Im sure you will like the difference.

Shv mate - You still runnning a 16 tooth front?!!! Shame on you! same applies as message above. Total transformation! I bet you cant even top out in 5th with the 16?? so whats the pint of 6th? Get the 15 mate and be enlightened.

I think as Weeksy has said, riding a Tunuo and wanting what he can't afford isn't going to help him much. If he wants to ride a sorted Tuoldo to feel what they are like with engine, suspension and gearing sorted he's welcome to try mine (when I reassemble it). He can try Liz's 07 Tunuo back to back if he wants - the major difference is the riding position between our two (and the 07's habit of sliding at the front wheel when you push it :eek)

When I got my 05 (back in 05) I found the suspension too harsh and choppy on B roads, hence the suspension mods that I believe transformed the bike, so much that I still can't decide if I am going to upgrade to that 09 Factory - if there are any left now.:dunno

LOL LAds thanks... but i don't wanna ride a Newono :)

Well i'd ride one just out of curiosity as i like riding bikes :)

but you know what i mean.

I'm kind of like Weeksy, After it left me on the road side the dealer had to put a new EFI on it,, now it sputters from time to time when giving it throttle. is it normal to get a little cough???

I do think the fact it let me down plays a partial factor in this. I still find myself walking up to it wondering if it will run :)

Pbbbbffffltt! Are ye nae payin' attention there laddie. One doon on the front and two up on the back!! I'm a HUGE proselytizer for changing the gearing. I totally agree that it tapped out on fifth, and with the change in gearing, I'm not losing any top end, I just tap out in sixth now. Apparently 235 is easily attainable. with the last push toward 250 taking some time. So I've heard....

And on the street she is way more amenable and pulls easily in first. She still doesn't like anything below35 kph, but then neither do I.

Intersting thread... Assuming my bike sale goes OK on Sat, I'm eventually picking up a Newono :)
