I did a thousand miles in April and fifteen hundred since then, and most of them in ***** weather. Tbh if you have good tyres and a sense of humour even ***** weather can be fun

I've done about 10K this year but can certainly no longer say my bikes never seen a wet road. I've been drenched through on countless occasions.
(I do live in Wales.)
This was one nice sunny day when I went out with the 1/2 face & sunglasses. Pissed it down for an hour untill I got home where it was nice & sunny again
I do try to SORN over the winter but leave my insurances running for obvious reasons. If there's a nice sunny day you can always Tax Online provided MOT's up to date.
I was pulled by the Old bill last October who ran their checks but was quite lucky that they just took my word for it & never asked for me to produce. If I did it again I'd make sure I took a copy of the downloadable confirmation to avoid the hassle.
It was quite a relief as I was in North Wales at the time after all the hh haa with Blundstome. The copper told me there is now a new chief constable who is a biker himself that is taking a much more tolerant view however details would be taken & persistent offenders would be dealt with.
