Hi, I'm Jensen. I enjoy long walks on the beach, short walks on the beach, and other beach related activities. I'm a student transplanted from California to Pennsylvania (Pennsyltucky). And Oh! I'm one of the staff members that we have here on TuonoZone (debatably the best looking, but don't tell Doug that).

Hi Jensen, I think we have a bit in common, except for the long walks on the beach, short walks on the beach, and other beach related activities, being a student and living in the States bit.

Welcome all, from straya :)

its ok Steve, we can still be friends :laugh I'm 90% sure I'm coming down to Oz for December, we can have a contest to see who is prettier.

You're prettier for sure, it's hard for me to be pretty with rugged good looks. The older I get the more handsome I was :thumbup

I like how old ugly guys say they are "rugged" but it is ok if the girlies put a bag over your head, we won't tell.

Hi, my name is Doug, I am a "Mad Modder". I cannot leave a motorcycle alone. They just need improving. I am almost 50, I have a 2003 Tuono, a 2007 Gixxer and a couple of mini-bikes. I recently purchased a tire machine, and it is one of the best things I ever did. I love to mount and "properly" balance my tires.

This whole Super Moderator gig is a hoot, as I get to ban folks and be a bully in general. Thanks fella's.

I'm Josh. I don't mod bikes nearly as much as Doug, but I do like to ride them. My favorite type of riding is off road, but I do a lot of street as well. I stay away from cages as much as possible and have always ridden a bike year round. Born in Denver, grew up in Northern VA and going to school in Cambridge MA.

I have a TL1000S, a CR250R and a couple DR's and have been known to snag my dad's 919 for extended periods of time. In fact I've ridden it half way accross the country and put 4k miles on it in the last four weeks. A week and a half from now that figured will be doubled:banana

oh, and everyone knows I'm prettier than Jensen:p

Hi, I'm Peter, otherwise known as B o B, Bored of Bedford.
I've been riding bikes for more years than some of you been alive. I started off on good old British twins but just love the luxury of electric starting, effective lights, no oil drips or nuts & bolts working loose.
My first Jap bike was a CBR1000 which was an awesome workhorse but incredibly boring. I then got one of the original Bandit 1200s. Great bike, lots of scope for 'modding' and a bit of a hooligan image. I then rode my son's TL1000S. I was hooked on twins after that. The Bandit had to go and, as my son wouldn't sell me his bike I bought a better one - an '04 Tuono. What a machine. Both my motorcycling sons are drooling over it and asking who gets it in my will!!! FFS!
Anyway, no doubt you'll learn more about me as time goes on. I've carried out a few mods on my Tuono, no starting problems - now (even though it's kept in a garage with no electricity). Rene airbox kit, 16/44 sprockets, db screen and carbon fibre bits & bobs.

Stay shiny side up

Jon. I'm 34 and I've been riding street since I turned 15. I've rode year round off and on ever since. There were about three years where my bike was my only transportation in a part of the country that gets at least some of almost every type of weather... adventure and hilarity ensued. I'm currently trying to sell my house and move from the DC metro area to San Francisco. My '06 Tuono is my first "sports" bike and I don't think I'll ever go back to cruisers.

Jon, you're like the opposite of me. I'm from the SF area, and for a while was living only a couple hours of of DC (south PA). Where abouts in the Bay are you looking?

Ideally, Petrero Hill. We've also looked at Mission Delores, Haight-Ashbury, Noe Valley, Richmond, Western Addition, etc. I've never particularly liked living in this area but have always felt that I was held here by one circumstance or another. But, now that my wife is on board, I can finally make the change without sacrificing anything dear to me.

so you're looking to be in SF proper then. I'm from the East Bay, out in the Burbs. I could think of worse places to live...:laugh

SF is nice, hope you like fog though.

Hello everyone, name is Ian and i'm 53 and own an 08 Tuono R. Came back to riding about 3 years ago after 28 years away and love it. I wasn't totally devoid of my biking fix as my 2 sons raced motocross for 7 years but when they packed in (beer, girls, money etc) I was bored shitless so the wife told me to go buy a bike for myself. I didn't need telling twice and bought a 2000 Mille then a VTEC, 2001 Mille R, Blackbird, Pan Euro (don't laugh, I was trying to slow down after a near jail experience on the bird) and finally I'm here with everything i want in a bike.... decent riding position for an old man, gobs of torque, power when you need it, decent handling, sublime exhaust note (akra's) and intake growl and looks to kill for

Whats up everyone.

I'm Steve and have an 05 Tuono. Use it mainly for commuting and spirited runs on the sides of mountains. Full time student for the next few years. Currenlty living in Hawaii, but will be moving back to Florida after the new year.
