If you were thinking of a new Honda VFR, with perhaps a new V5 engine, you’ll have to wait a while yet. At Intermot 2008 new colours for the VFR have been shown, but no other novelties have been revealed.
The Honda VFR is equipped with a V4-VTEC engine and electronic ignition which distributes the power in two different phases of ignition to the valves. This means that fuel is distributed evenly no matter what the rider’s style. The chassis is an alluminium double beam frame.
Other technical elements include an HMAS 43mm fork and combined Dual-CBS braking for super sports road grip. Optional braking available is ABS-CBS. The rear single swing-arm is a Pro-Arm element combined directly on the carter and supported by Unit Pro-Link suspension. The bike has a lower saddle for greater comfort, giving the VFR a versatile and accessible style.
