the wasteland east anglia
next month it will be time to re insure the bike , have done the usual trawl on the net and have come up with an excellent quote from "bennetts ".
i have also just had a reminder call from my existing insurer "swinton " . the guy on the the phone was just downright rude and pissed off as he couldnt match the quote from bennetts who use the same underwrighter . bloody insurance people there as nice as pie when it goes their way , and nasty bastards when it doesnt .
good ridance to swinton as ive been bombarded with so called quotes and offers on household , contents , motor and bike insurance offers since i took a policy with them last year .

so bike for £ 105.32 comp wth protect n/c with bennetts
car for £ 136.47 comp 2 drivers with protect n/c with saga

job done , age has its benefits so ive been told !!

i know what your saying there a pain in the *** . i went with bennets when had my gixer and they gave me the best quote out there, but i did find that when it came to re-insure on the second year the price went through the roof .so then i bought the tuono and went with mce but bennets would,nt send my proof of no claims .it ended up taking three months to get my proof of ncb and when it did come through i got three copies..go figure

yer im with Bennetts last year £130.00 gone up this year now £140.00 so not too bad :thumbup

Swinton are the scourge of the insurance industry - I used them a couple of times, on renewal they hoik their prices up and then spam the crap out of you for ever more.

Even when I had the policy they kept phoning, I eventually had to get quite rude after many polite requests for them not to call me every 5 minutes.

Bennents do seem very competitive. Mine £85, fully comp, max no claims, miles limited to 2000. Got RAC cover for £39.99 as the insurance was so cheap. Also like Bennents because they allow a number of modifications at no extra cost.
I used to be with ebike on a monthly policy (only use the bike max 4 months, as I'm abroad the rest of the year) which went from £34 a month to £60 a month in 2012.

done it . insured with bennetts did it on line last night . £105.32 fully comp protect ncd etc . no hidden costs like admin charges etc , and minor mods are alowed at no extra cost .
downloaded all docs and printed em off , just got to send my "swintons " renewal notice as proof of ncd .
all in all a painless and cost effective process.
