Hello, new user here. I just swapped out my CanAm Spyder for a 2015 Caponord travel pack. Just never really liked the 3 wheel experience though glad to have tried it. My question is this, my insurance quote for the Aprilia is 60% higher than the Spyder was for the same coverage. Are others seeing similar increases when swapping or is your carrier more reasonable?

hello from down under

G'day desertryder, I can't help with your insurance query - except to say 'phone around' - your insurance companies would be the same as ours over here (at the blunt end of the horse) and just as greedy and biased against bikes.....

I normally infest the 2014-2016 forum (it's got more smileys), but best wishes on your purchase (hope you took advantage of the price discounting that's been on offer).

There's lots to read up on, main thing is to adjust your right side pannier locking point so the pannier will fit easily and securely (there should be a thread on this forum, but there's photo's over on the AF1 site....).

I've got a 2014 TP and I've clocked up 19,855kms since I bought it new in late Feb 015......it's been all good (I haven't fiddled with anything) and I'm just about to get the 20k scheduled service done.

Cheers from Aussie for now...:D

$9950 USD, not setup fees or shipping. I got 15k for a 2012 Spyder I traded. No sales tax since trade was wroth more than the purchase. Got a 2015 Caponord Travel Pack and a check for $4820 for the Spyder. Great deal I think.

Whooo-ee, dun good there man.......we have all been shafted here in Oz as we either paid $26k new in 2013, or $23k in 2015 - the lucky ones buying now for $17k Aus ride away...(2014 stock). That's life:rolleyes:
