Don't remove the pads, and use a screwdriver (between disc and pad) to carefully push the cylinder back in the caliper. Then remove the old pad and replace it with the new one.

I would remove the old pads........give the pistons a GOOD clean with brake cleaner or wd40, maked sure its all wiped off and dry, then push the pistons back in then put ya new pads in

Need to clean the pistons before pushing back in cos if there's any baked on crud on the pistons it could fook up the seals

:stupidgood tip :thumbup

if you can't push the pistons back enough then they need some cleaning to get rid of any crap so you can push them back far enough to get the new pads in, when putting the new pads in smear a small amount of copaslip onto the back of the pad:thumbup

Just watch the fluid level in the reservoir if you are pushing the pistons back a long way

I dont know why nobody mentioned opening the reservoir :D

With closed reservoir if you push one piston in the other one will go out :)
