Suprise, having strange things happen on my 05 Factory. Move indicator switch to the right & they work, but to cancel them I have to move the switch all the way to the left. Left hand side not working on the switch, but if I push in the V button on the dash the l/hand indicators flash as long as i keep my finger on it. Am I being stupid, cos i can't find the relay, disconnected the three under the carbon covers under the bars but still the same fault. If i disconnect the 3-pin plug from the switch the r/hand side flash. Got a 2nd hand switch original felt like it was'nt the same feel on the left compared to the right, but same fault. Must say the other switch dos'ent feel great either. To me the circuit is ok as I can get them to work doing what I've described, but obviously not as they should!! Any ideas chaps?

Don't know if it will help but the indicator relay on the 98 - 04 RSV's are positioned on a bracket between the headlight and back of the instrument pods.

On mine I had to remove the headlamp fairing to gain access to the relay. My relay had crapped itself and was taking ages to flash, flashing faster on one side than the other.

So you may be on the right track.

There were some switch failures which caused cancelling problems. Aprilia updated the switch. The later version has a white dot on the underside.

I'm not in front of a circuit diagram at the mo but will check tomorrow

Changed mine to Suzuki/Kawasaki relay (had it on the shell in my garage) that looked the same as oem, but no noises like in 60 Fiat and a lot faster. Took 5"
cheers
