Help!

My indicator switch will not lock into the left postion, the indicator works while you have your thumb on the switch pressing left, but as soon as I release the switch the indicators stop flashing.

The right hand indicator is working fine, and if I switch to right first then all the way across to left, the left then works fine - is this making sense?

It's still under warranty but the dealer is 50 miles away, so I thought if it was something simple I may be able to fix it.....

Any ideas guys?

Until you get to the dealers you could try a squirt of WD40 in there. It may just do the trick.

I had same problem on mine and took it back to the dealers for them to fix....good job too because he said it was an absolute ball-ache to do. Turned out it was a clip come off inside which connects it all together......take it to the dealers....it's a good enough excuse to ride your bike anyways :)

If the wd40 doesn't work out... then.. it sure is ;)

i have the same problem....
but seeing as the baby hasn;t been out of the garage yet this year (easter wk.end couldn;t be closer).... i'll test it out this wk.end

it still has to go into shop to get new rear light after serious misting up... so i'll get them to sneak a peak at the indicator after the daz's comment about a clip or something.. sounds like a ball-ache..

I also got new front indicators... slightly aprehensive about fitting them myself though... it is italian wireing after all..
