hi folks

guys

i no some of you wont give a damn but on 0ct the 9th 1987 i passed out of the light division depot in winchester and joined my battalion the third batt the royal green jackets 22yrs ago , well my youngest next week will do the same aged 18 into my battalion from catterick after 26weeks of training ...fella's he is seriously into bikes and spesh milles if anyone would like to wish him luck via text [he'll hate me for this] pm me and i will give you his mobile please add that its from the club/zone cheers guys:biggrin
 
Wish him good luck from me mate, i`ve been in almost ten years and have done tours almost everywhere, never regretted it.

Though I am `crab air` as you pongo`s like to call us.

On a more serious note was it one of the lads form our "Bomb" day that was hit last week in Ganners?
 
I will send him a text...I passed out @ Sir John Moore barracks in 1988 and done only the 3 years in 3 & 2 L.I before a spell at M.C.T.C and a services no longer required..**** that makes me feel old.
I'm a bit older and wiser (sometimes) now...I'm texting now.....

one killed mate yesterday i cant give you anymore than that but your about right if you get me mate ...very sad flags at half mast
