Home of the greasy chip butty.
Just got back from 4 days riding in the Scottish Highlands on my new (to me) Tuono R 07.
Having stepped off an 02 R1, I was a little concerned that I'd regret it when I watched everyone leave me for dead at the first national speed limit sign, BUT
I absolutely love it, tight and twisty, long fast sweepers, and anything in between seems just made for the grunt of the motor.
Its down a tooth at the front and has some scorpion cans on and really impressed with its abilities throughout the trip.
Its a keeper !
The price of Italian ownership over 1491 miles in 4 days ?
1. The speedo misted up.
2. The dash showed a fault with a right indicator bulb that went off if you tapped the indicator.
3. The mirrors folded in at anything over 100.
4. I had a grin on my face as big as a canyon and can forgive all the little things.
What a refreshing bike after years of sports rockets.
Does anyone have any suggestions for suspension settings for "spirited" road riding with a 15 stoner on board ?
