awight chappies,
wha's got the long ile filter as opposed tae the short wan, mines is the short and ahve been advised tae change tae the long which ah've bought along wi the extended cover, but a wis looking at af1, and maist reports say the long one triggers aff the ile light tae flicker,due tae no havin some pressure switch. , or am a as well just leaving it as it is wi the short wan,,,,,, and whit grade o iles best,

Stick with the one thats on the bike already Sean.
15/50 semi synthetic is the recommended oil grade.
I was talking to a mechanic the other day and he reckons 10/40 is okay as well, but I think Weeksy has other views on this. I'm sure there was a thread about this earlier, but being a bone idol get, I can't be arsed to look for ya
 
Sean don't know about the filters but I've been told to stick with the advised grade of oil 15/50 but it would be ok to run fully synthetic after a complete oil change. I needed a top up during the summer? and found that the above grade is hard to find off the shelf, suppose that's not an issue with all the chemical **** on the roads.

A rekon it wis some other eejit. Shure as feck the FUD'll rear it's ugly hermaphrodite whatever. How's yer EXT going.
 
aye twa days o backfillin an diggin drains and a pit ma ****** back oot, anither couple days o it then ahll get makin ma kit, an of coorse it pished ****** rain every day,,,,, mair needin ma brickie tae get the garage started fir the bike an ma drums then ahll be ******* happy bud
 
Aye Aye, mine got swapped to the long filter when in for its 6K service and i aint seen the oil light flicker once. Done around 2K since it was changed and not had any problems.

Dont think it matters a **** like! So if you have the long one then it will be fine.
