The classic blue and orange, Gulf GT40 scheme. It would be different and keep in line with the sporting theme.

this is an old paint scheme vw did years ago which always stood out from the crowd! alternatively i would say research into aprilia history and look at old racing schemes, maybe try giving one a slightly more modern twist.
the only problem with paint schemes personal to you, ie your favourite band, film or racing team is that it narrows down the market when you look to sell. some people will love it, others wont touch it. when i was looking for my mille i found a really nice sprayed candy white one, only to then find that the tank, seat unit and belly pan had images from the film '300' etched on. they were sprayed fantastically well and it was genuine artwork, but i would never consider riding a bike around with a bunch of fellas wearing togas sprayed on.
obviously the choice is yours and it depends if you ever plan on selling, be sure to keep us updated either way and photos in the future once its done!

Hey guys i'm thinking of a pearl white with graphite grey bellypan with graphics on tank and rear in grey, the thing is i have seen a couple of cracking paint jobs on this site though you never want to copy.

hi guys, thinking of going with the mille sp look, going to do a metalic black with the the silver detail. Maybe slightly boring but i like the smoother lines with the graphics etc. Anyway thinking once project complete going to sell get a 04 plate rsv factory.

See now we are talking love the look of the duc, its mint. I would love to do a crisp white black paint job but i know it wont be the kind of classic look
Guys think this should be a photo below of what I am thinking of for the paint scheme.Pearl white mat black, thinking anodised red parts throughout the bike, Air Scoops at front in red, prob change the rear lights to white also.

Hi russ, a retro paint job would be mint, I love the look of yours though i doubt if ma paint boy would get all the detail bang on if a went along same idea. What rear end do you have on your bike bud as it makes a big difference.

Bud your bike is sick, checked out the jester dude his stuff his stuff looks quality. The rear end makes a huge diference it sorts the whole bike out. Ma only prob is just bought exhaust and obviously with this ill be f***** for a hanger.
