my 636 ,
nearly up to track day level,
new tyres,discs,shock,and can..all in the last 3 weeks.

hopefully the weather will stay nice and dry..and i dont fall off!!!

anyone close by with nothing to do come up and watch..should be good.

i know tinman is doing the same day...see u there bud.pop over and have a chat if you see my bike...i will be the big fat git next to it...lol

well guys, made it home in one piece, but god i ache everywhere.
silverstone is such a fast circuit!!!very good but a long day,
didnt manage to get any good shots,and i wasnt paying £30!!! for the photo cd the guy was doing.
my mate fell of his blade twice, once right in front of me going into the new slow flip flop at the end of the lap.
saw a few aprillias up there..very nice..and quick..infact there was a lot of quick people up there yesterday,makes you wonder just how fast the pros go.

and although i was getting stuffed right left and centre...i did manage a few overtakes of my own.!!wayhoooo.

Just imaging how it would have felt ooofing out of those corners on a wave of V-Twin torque! (sorry, shouldn't rub it in).

yea i did think that whilst up there...oh well.you never know what i will have next time..lol lol

not got any more booked yet,but i would like to do another one.
with another company maybe???
i felt there was to many people on track at the same time,
i know silverstone is a long circuit,but in our group the first guys out were on there 2nd lap by the time the last people got out at the back of the queue.
i reckon focused events made a killing that day.

i thought it was only supposed to be about 30 or so people in each group???
it was at least double that in our group.

it depends on the size of the track. it would be 30 or so if you were at cadwell or mallory but the larger circuits they can fit more bikes on. I did a donny a few years ago where there were 55 in each group. EVERY session was red flagged and it was *****. felt like i spent half the day in pit lane with my tyres going cold.

it wasn;t unitlt he last session, where bizarrely half go home before the last session, that the track was empty. i did about 6 laps on my nc30 and saw 2 other bikes!!

60 bikes per group?! Jeez.
I'm looking to book some up at the moment so I'll let you know if I do.
At least some may be with Focused though as they've promised me a bit of a discount for scratching my paintwork.
