I should after 20 yrs of biking know how to adjust the chain on a bike with only a side stand, but i dont. So whats the best way? Cleaned the bike today and the chain felt very sloppy.

same way as u wid any other Pmyth min...

...if yer concerned cos the wheel is oan the groond an ye dinnae hae a paddock stand ye kin slightly tilt the bike back oan the stand which raises the back wheel then git wan o yer spracklers tae prop it up wi somethin like a bit o wid...crude but it works...

An as ye dinnae exist ah must hae gone mental as ahm noo speakin tae masel aboot improvisin chain adjustin..mair beer Vicar..?

ah wid say yes cos ahv done that way oan bikes ower the years wi nae detrimental effect but nae doot thir will be sumone wi a reason why no tae..
