I hate that soft feeling

when you are turning a bolt and have just gone too far and you then get that soft feeling, then that sinking feeling:roll

Anyway to cut a long story short i am in need of a magnetic sump plug for my 04 bike, anyone got one lying around they want to part with:thumbup

head sheared off leaving the thread in the crankcase, luckily when i started to try to drill it out i accidentally had my drill on hammer setting and i noticed it turned the thread/bolt, so i popped the drill in reverse and it came out pretty easily, lucky or what:thumbup

That was lucky, usually hear of the bolt being ok and the threads in the cases stripping in most other bikes.

Are 'prilia cases better metal than the usual Jap stuff? Not changed the oil in the Ape yet.

i think i did mine but not had it out since i got the soft feeling . do you think the plug will have stripped or the engine case ? hope its not the later :dunno

I threw my old oil drain plug at the wall as the monkey before me stripped the head, so i replaced it with a socket head from off a Honda CBR, works a treat.
