I did a little *** wee

Sounds good, Nob, but the only issue for me (apart from the price) is the physical size of the thing. When you're 6'3" like me, you like a BIG bike!
Must admit the looks are growing on me too!

Really?! Ya wee pissant. Ah didnae feel tae big aw th' RSV4, so am curios as tae how th' nekkid Prilly will feel under mah arse...

Alright ladies? Got to say, I'm liking the look of the new bike....a lot! Every so often i have a pang of regret over selling my F, especially as I can't find anything interesting to buy here (Dubai), but deep down I know it was the right thing to do. I think!

Dubai?

Lucky sod.

I was there on business last year and loved it.

Great Lebanese restuarant along that main drag

Awright B min...hope yer keepin well.......yer probably toolin aboot in some fancy Audi R8 or sumfin ower there, jist tae blend in wi the locals like...

Haha, that was kind of the plan, but reality caught up and I bought a Touareg instead. V8 with all the toys I should add, well, at £25 quid a tank why would you buy anything smaller!

Any news from you foos, or the deen?

Nuthin too excitin B min, makin a livin as they say.......the Oil Capital o Europe is fairly gettin busy tho this year it wid seem.....long may it continue!

....oh an aye....ahm still wafflin a high level o pish!

Nuthin' in Canadia yet, and no real chance at it until late this summer... maybe, the dealer says.

Well that wiz very interestin an fun.....

Had the V4T, wi the aprc mularkey on it, oot fur a good test drive the day...man, whit can ah say......this bike is RAPIDO and handled like on rails.....very quick turn in.....an the drive oot the corner is awsome. Totally changed mah initial thoughts oan it as it does look good in the flesh, an definitely has a "ahm gonna get ye" face oan it wi they twin lamps starin oot!

it took a few miles take get mah heid roond the quickshifter an stop backin the throttle off a bit between changes but once mastered, jist pin it back, keep changin up an fook me does it pull!

Ah had it in Sport mode but wi the max traction control oan but was still a bit feart o tryin tae test the TC oot as was goin that fast as it wiz bein too busy concentratin oan gettin roon the corners!

and that V4 sound thru an open Akra....Jeez!!!!!.. never mind "a little *** wee"..ah nearly blew mah load ower the tank...gotta be the best sounding bike I have ever heard in years! Once yer above 6-7k revs the thing sounds like a jet fighter, very addictive.

Negative point for me was the bar position was a bitty low feelin with quite a lot o wrist pressure, if ah had one would fit Gen 2 type bars which are a bitty higher swept or risers o some sort......

.....and at speeds above 85 the wind blast was a real issue unlike mah Gen2 so reckon needs mair o a screen....particularly as this is a machine you will NOT be drivin slowly!!!

Was oot for aboot an hour an wiz only just gettin a hang o thing..but as the insurance excess wiz 1500 quid was probly best a handed it back afore it got me oot ma zone an intae bother !

Also scoped oot the yellow paint job one as weel....note the seat covering is maistly yellow and looks like it will mark an look dirty wi use in no time...however the yellow scheme still looked ace tho.

Would ah buy one? Oh yes definitely if ah had the dosh...but like Nob said at the start o the thread might be worth waitin a bitty for the alleged Factory job (if it ever appears). Sayin that the current ones are mair bike than any o us will ever need.

Ah need another fix ........the sound oh the sound!!!!

I've ridden one too, they are indeed bloody a w e s o m e machines. Gotta have me another go on one... soon! :eek

When you think about it, we`re all lucky b`stards really, cos we all know what our next bike is going to be........without even having to think about it ! :thumbup

I mean, I`m new to the religion of the T, so I aim to keep it for some time yet, as I enjoy each and EVERY ride on it........but it`s nice to look forward to the T4 in the future.

Absolutely WELL DONE Aprilia !!!!! :roost

iS THE RSVR V4 Mille (or whateve they're calling it.) out in Factory spec yet.

Its not out yet but according to my dealer should be launched at some point next year.

The only photo on the internet hinting at what it may look like is this one here

Which doesn't do it any justice! :eek

I personally loved the V4 Tuono & the sound.....was oh so addictive & that was with the stock can!

If I had the money I would be seriously tempted, but as I don't.... & already have 2 T's will hold on for the time being as life is already all good! :thumbup

First and foremost. The gold frame can **** right off. It was the single biggest mistake of any bike design ever. Anyone with even the slightest sense of taste and style should and do ******* hate it.

That picture on the visordown website looks alike a standard bike, with a RSV4 tail unit on it and new forks. I'm not sure we can call that a Factory. Where are the Brembo MonoBlocs? Let's face it. The Factory will be alot more special than that obvious test mule. It ain't gonna look much different. It will have APRC ABS, Ohlins front and rear, an Ohlins steering damper and Brembo radial MC and MonoBlocs. It will probably share the RSV seat unit and will come with extra carbon and different colours. How difficult is that to predict?

Nob..........i been out on my V4 all week end...up to wales sunday...................im telling you im still grinning its fantastico:thumbup:thumbup:thumbup im just getting in to swing of it:eek its flamming fast:eek twisteys are just ace on it...BTW IT MUST BE IN TRACK MODE YOU FANNY lolol:yes
