The police have reported you for summons to court. They are not required to give you any paperwork at the roadside. You are entitled to a copy of all evidence that they hold against you under the rules of disclosure. Your only route is to aim at a procedure error whist being dealt with. You will not get away with the sorry your honour its a new bike or oops i got cramp in my wrist. Even with exposing a procedure error the likelyhood is you will recieve a ban if you are attending court. The ban is usually 2 weeks - 2 months depending on speed and manner of riding. This will be upported by 3-6 points and and court costs. You can apeal to the magistrates better nature in that you require your license for work and this can reflect in the outcome by way of reduction of the ban. Do be mindful though if you do target back at the police in court for procedures some magistrates do not take kindly and may impose a slightly higher stake. it truly is a catch 22. Hope this helps.
