How to enter Diagnostics mode ( RSV 1000 R FACTORY 2004 )

Hello guys,

Manual says :

"To display the diagnostics codes in question, enable diagnostics
mode by pressing the LAP button at key-ON for at
least 15 seconds. To exit the diagnostics code display and
return to the normal display mode, run a key-OFF/ON cycle... "

But I have a problem, I turn the key to "ON" and hold LAP button 15sec, more than 15sec and nothing happens(only my high beams flashes and lap timer starts )
Is there any tip or I am not doing it right or something doesn't work on my lover ?

Hi! Are you FIRST pressing and holding the LAP button, THEN turning on the ignition . . . ?

I made it man, yes I was first pressing and holding lap and then ignition... Trying it many times but finally successfully, i don't know what was the problem.

I found ERROR 41 - tip over switch, I disconected it.

Great! Is your tip-over sensor correctly mounted - that is - the right way up?

Yes friend , I have just opened it to check is everything ok, yes it is.
Once I have disconnected it (three months ago, and I bought rsv 4 months ago), to be honest I was thinking that it would make me problems while riding.

I tought , huge two pistons + vibrations + cornering = would make connection and turn the engine off :dunno ...
But now, I am sure that can't make problem and I am ready to connect it back

I also have a problem with efi... I have almost fully open cans... What do you think, should I touch a bit a TPS ?
