Hello Pikeman,
2 x 8mm bolts at the rear corners of the seat.
Lift the corner slightly so you can slip a socket on top.
Lift up and back when they are free.
Done

Cause they want to annoy you!!!

I don't know if Gen2 have the same seat set-up, but if you feed the optimate lead through to the rear seat then it's so much easier on a Gen1 that way!

AH there we go then Pikey there is your answer. Put the Optimate lead on the battery and feed it through to the rear seat. Job done!

I've fed mine through the bottom and attached it to the rear foot rest with some cable ties so i don't have to keep taking the seat (front or rear) off at all. Seems to work for me.

Hadn't thought of that - even better if you use it all the time. It's a pain for me as I have no power in the shed, so I have to run a long power cable. So I have only used the Optimate twice since I bought it before Xmas. Therefore the rear seat option for me is ideal.

that wiz way far too clean an easy...wheres awe the usual rippin banter...ur wi awe goin saft or whit!

(Flummoxed me as weel fur a bit by the way when ah first got ma T Pmyth min so ye urnae the first fud tae ask that yin)

Stix mines plugged in more than I ride the bloody thing to be honest. Its stuck in the garage and I have to park next to it every night I come home. Lighter nights and finer weather HURRRRRRRY UP

Not riding mine much but have this week to MOT it, going to take it back down now for re-MOT as it failed on rear brake light.

Are you are supposed to disconnect a battery lead when connecting a charger up to it ?

I am sure I have read that somewhere.

No, just run a relay off one of the terminals (+ if I remember correctly) and plug it in.

What rear brake ????//

Exactly! I just meant THE brake light. Front brake light switch wasn't working at all, so new switch needed. Also I had clear lenses with White bulbs and some useless piece of red plastic. So bought some red bulbs from eBay & reMotd earlier passed no probs.

Ditto for me too.
