How Do I Secure My Battery

If you look at some of my bike pics, when I got this bike it was in pieces. Having rebuilt it I can't seem to figure out what is supposed to hold the battery down. I bought the piece that is supposed to go on the battery and screw to the underseat but it's not even close to reaching as if my batter is just too big. I don't think it is since I bought it from AF1racing.

Please someone post me a picture of how their battery is sitting in the undertail. Thanks.

The underside of the seat will hold the battery in place.:whoop:flip

I bought that piece and it fits on the battery but is about 3 inches away from where it should screw in on the undersaddle.

Is your battery the standard size? That bracket fits inbetween the positive and negative connectors on the battery (there is a recess there that the bracket fits in) and then it screws into the undertray right at the back of the battery box part (just infront of the starter solenoid). 3 inches sounds way off. The battery should fit very snugly in the undertray.
