High'ish speed miss fire or what.

:dunno got a bit of a problem, 03 model RSVR, when I get to around a ton the bike starts to die as if it's running out of fuel. Done this a few times now, it will pull through it but a bit disconcerting if your in the middle of an over take and it starts to die. Any one any ideas :confused asked the guy in the Aprilia dealers & he recons it could be a bit of water in the fuel getting sucked in but not sure.

Dirty airfilter , blocked fuel filter ...... starting points to look at , even a vacuum line pinched could be your problem . If you believe there may be water in with your fuel then some Methylated spirits poured into your tank will get that out ..
