Hi All,

RSV Wannabe.

Im looking to purchase RSVR hopefully a 2003, but have come across a 2001 reasonable price but with a High Bar Conversion. I gotta say its the wierdest looking thing I have ever seen.

The front looks as though it has been changed also, I presume to adapt with the conversion. Is there anything with a High Bar Conversion that I should be aware of ? Is it a straight forward job to rectify? Thank in advance any comments greatly received.

Yuk! Looks like the fairing's been cut about so make sure he's got the original. Probably need to fit the original cables and brake/clutch lines as well. BTW that's a pre-2001 model, not an 01.

Yeah someone telling porkies deffo pre 2001, and it looks crap to be blunt but not my bag. :puke  :puke

It will have been registered in 2001 I have got one the same shape on a Y plate 2001 and I have seen one on a 52 plate that made me do a double take.
The ad says he has got all the parts to put back to standard, looks like a good deal to me, top yoke and bars etc will do £200+ on ebay.
I am selling my base model mille and wanted £2500 for that, looks unlikely looking at that price mine however only has 7000 miles on it.
put back to standard and cleaned up I be suprised if that R didn't do £3000+ in summer.
