High air flow Performance open air filter kits

hello mate,

I'll have the cheque in the post on monday morning, sorry about the delay, just been abit busy.

Fitted my carbon kit one evening this week, only took about 45 minutes. I trimmed about an inch off the breather hose as it was fouling a variety of bits & pieces, routing is fine now.
One thing though - when the kit is fitted, there's no bracket to retain the throttle cables. I'm slightly worried about this as mine wound up out of the bracket after a service last year and I had a throttle that was sticking/giving more revs on left hand lock. I'm going to have a play this weekend to see if I can lash something up, anybody come up with something similar?
If that sounds like a gripe though, it's not. The kit is really nicely made and simple to fit. I don;t know if the bike is faster now, but by god it sounds faster!!!! If you've not ordered one yet, what's keeping you?

You use the throttle cable clip from the bottom of the OEM airbox mate :thumbup . You must have had to remove it you just need to refit the cable clip :dunno Fits into the frame shown in the picture Far L/H/S you can see the bolt holes,& also the marks on the cable in this picture

Tried that the other evening, all a bit fiddly trying to drop tank over the bracket, feed bolts through etc (it was getting dark at the time). I'll have another crack tommorow though, cheers for the response.

Just got my filter kit and i am on a day off so in the garage i go for 5 and out on the beast for hours cant wait thanks hooked your the man

I am going to give my opinion on the filter kit fiting it not a problem went out to see what all the fuss it about and fu_k me what a diffrenc 1st 2nd 3rd front wheel in the air and the induction noise is fab thanks Hooked bang on mate and if any one is toying with geting one go on you will not regret it:thumbup:doug:biggrin
