OK I keep reading bits and pieces about this.

It must be about the only mod I have done LOL, so what's the deal.

How much, what the benefits to the lights etc etc etc??

they're a hell of a lot brighter....increases visability both to the rider and others on the road. They're very easy to install, and from what i understand is one of the best mods for your $$. My bike has a color matched mesh cover over the headlight so I was seriously thinking about doing this mod since the intensity of the headlight is minimized a bit due to the cover. A friend of mine has them on his civic and they're crazy bright. do it!
 
OK where to buy and how much for an 04?

I thought the 04 bikes had some wierd bulb sizing. i.e H11 or summat?
 
I've fitted HID lamp units to my last two bikes and it has to be one of the first mods I do.

The night vision is absolutely amazing and the added daytime visibility it gives you has to be worth its weight in gold.

I think the 2004 MY bulbs are H7's but don't quote me on that, go for the slim ballast model kits as room can be tight behind your headlamps.

How much did you pay for shipping and where there any issues with import duty?

Hi mate,

No import duty to pay, very rarely get caught unless the feckers use Fed Ex, paid around £30 all in for mine.

If you get a HID set for less than £50 your on a winner.
 
IIRC I paid about £30 for mine plus P&P. Fitted a set to my last 4 bikes and last 2 cars. The first mod I do.
