Welcome, glad you're njoyng the bike fella, as you've found out they're rather good aren't they :thumbup

That Tig is the absolute muts, i personally love the detail on the link pipe, the craftsmanship in that is outstanding

I have always wanted a Tig for the mille. They look the dogs and must sound like nothing else.

Post pics and costs when you get em PLEASE.

cheers guys.
melvin, where did you get the seat cowl from mate? did it come colour coded or did you have to have it sprayed up? ive been searching everywhere for one to match my bike, all i can find is a carbon fibre one.

another full days riding today and if ewt,i love it even more!
what a machine, turns heads where ever it goes, either for the looks or the sound, you dont see many out on a ride nowadays, ive yet to pass another "classic" shaped mille believe it or not, seen 2 new shaped ones in 2 days riding it,and still cant remember seeing one when out on the r1.
must be rare as well as gorgeous, lol.

cheers black sabbath.great forum full of very friendly folk and loadsa advice/help on here.pleased to be a member of it all.

:thumbup newbie here,from chesterfield,derbyshire.
just got my 2003 grey/silver rsv mille last thursday and what a machine:eek:
like quite a few on here,i came from a long line of il4's,mostly the over rated R1.had 3 of them now,but always lusted after a v-twin.they sound awesome!
out of all the twins, the rsv was always my fave, cos its just so different and for a change, its not miniscule like those silly ducatis (and for that matter most sportsbikes these days:rant).also like alot on here,im 6'2 and a healthy muscular 20st lol,and the bike fits like a glove! went on my first proper ride out saturday to willingham woods and she never missed a beat, against my 2 mates R1'S (a 2005 and 2007 model) she showed em how to go on:jack
so nice to have a bike thats so planted and solid and you can actualy accelerate within a corner and blast out of it instead of those twitchy temperemental R1'S:doug
and talk about sound, wow, they both said they couldnt even hear their bikes over mine:biggrin what a machine, ill never bother with an il4 ever again:inlove
ive read all 25 pages in this section before signing up,got alot of info from some very clever folk and also some very good links too.
cant wait for my next blast out on her,and also in the hunt for good quality race can, like the sound of my aprilia titanium but not the looks of it,so akra/tig or arrow when a good un pops up at the right price.
sorry for the boring essay lol, heres a few pics of the old girl...

Visiting our neck of the woods at willingham, how did you like the roads?

totaly awesome mate, fantastic roads, apart from the pig copper on the black 08 blade lol.my mate said its usualy better with folk wheelying the length of the road outside the woods, but cos the rozzers were there, everyone was behaving.be better after a few visits and i get to know the roads,my mate had been on em quite a few times and knew what bends ect were coming up next.my brothers clutch cable snapped on the way there on his r1,so we stopped at a little bike/car garage half way there across from a petrol station, and he mended it and re soldered it for £10 bless him.very friendly to bikes it seems out that way.
