Has anyone changed a front plastic lens on a headlight, i have a new front lens on a uk light and i want to take it off and put it on a euro rsv light as mine is cracked any ideas? advice needed

Yeah i did it on one of my gen 2 headlights that was cracked, didn't cook it though, lol, just used a stanley knife to get a start and then just worked my way round the lens carefully prising it up a little bit at a time with a screw driver, the glue holding it in had become hard and brittle over time and just sort of snapped away as it prised it up, did the same to another light with a good lens and a broken back section and stuck the good lens back down with clear silicon, not to much though just a small bead all the way round.

Done it a while ago now, been round Cadwell and many road miles, many a power wash, still there, no leaks.:thumbup
