No, not heated just your normal pinlock system. Never had pinlock before. Used to use a Fog City a few years back but it didn't last that long before it stopped working.
Think of it more as double glazing.
As mentioned before, the Pinlock is light years ahead of the Fog City. The Fog City was a bit fiddly to fit and scratched up easily.I hated the 'halo' effect you got from oncoming headlights in the dark.
Thanks Nob - didn't get it at first, bit slow on the uptake
It does look like that Del!
Oh, and Keith I agree. Fog City was very fiddly & very fragile. This Pinlock seems the business. First morning this autumn I really noticed it working.
I keep the pinlock in year round....which is strnge as I don't ride in rain or cold!! I did previously when my commute was longer and agree it is absolutely superb. Never let me down once.
It's that time of year that I am going to DESPERATELY need a pinlock. A week or two more of riding in close to freezing temps, then the white **** will grace us with it's presence... ****.
I've got a Pinlock Inset for my Arai visor but do u think I can find my visor since the two and half year old got his mits on it. Will have to have a serious look
Had to concede that it was a bit chilly this morning and had to resort to winter gloves. Although they are decent Alpinestars ****-Tex jobbies I forgot how much less feel they give.
