Helmet choice

Looking for a helmet...problem,which one to choice

Is £200/250 reasonable price

Agv k4 torque or the black
Agv s-4

Shark speed r Matt black (not keen on pop up sun visor)

Shoei Qwest bloodflow tc1....

Those are my choices...what I should choose?
 
I have a k4 and its starting to hurt my head.. and has a lot of wind noise etc.. I have heard shoei are good. Check out racevisors.co.uk they often have good deals and have good customer service and provide quick delivery..
 
Shark - best helmet I ever had.
HJC - Carbon fibre jobby next best
AGV - for commuting not the most comfortable or quiet
 
I have a shark R... They certainly are not the quietist on the market but very comfortable.
 
I can send you a picture of my Shoei mutli tec after i came off recently meaning i can vouch for both the quality and comfort of their helmets.

I find the head shape suits me beter too which you really need to consider and basically go somewhere to try them on and sit in them for a bit.

I liked the shark but the drop down shades hit my nose just enough to know it would bug the hell out of me afetr a while. This meant I went for the pinlock system which with the multitec was great. i would also suggest complling 2 lists one of what you like and the other for what you need, meaning removable pads for size adjustment and cleaning for example

we were were also told that the price you pay is the price you put on your head but for me 200-250 should buy a more than good enough helmet.
 
I been looking for shoei and arai...will save up bit more and increase my budget to £300/£350
 
I had an arai and the after sales wasnt great but the helmet was ok but for comfort the shoei was better especially with the whisper kit very snug in winter. whichever you get check the date of the lid as the warranty with arai runs from the manufacturer date when they want to be awkward and an arai 5 star dealer sold ema 2 year old one which later fell apart and was a right mither to change
 
Have you consider the Nexx XR1-R?
I have one and just love it.
I have owned Arai; Nolan; X-Lite; HJC and this one is the best by far. I have the carbon model and it is superb.

X min, go to somewhere like j&s and try them all on and see what feels good, then research which ones you like. Then buy off evilbay and save a fortune its what I did
 
HJC full face were selling there for just over £100, now £29.99 in store, me and my mates have bought 3
