Thought I'd say hello, just bought my first rsv a few weeks ago, 2005 rsvr. I've spent a lot of time looking at this forum since as it seems to be an invaluable source of info for these bikes and also full of helpful and knowledgeable members. So great bike great forum ,... good start!

I've started doing couple of bits on it on advise from reading previous posts on here as apart from the paint, it seems to be pretty much standard. So scorpion cans fitted, 15t front sprocket, k&n air filter ordered and I'm going down to Tamworth on Saturday to get fuelling/mapping sorted and suspension set up.

So first question if I may , as I'm gonna get this done on saturday, I want to get the air box modded first, evolution style, this will be a DIY job, as I can't afford a pre made with everything else.... so how easy are these to get right, with the seal etc?

Anyhow here's the pics of my new lady.....

Nice, welcome to the Zone. Love the paint job on yer bike, looking sharp.

How does she like her scratch post?. :biggrin

Mate she can't get enough of it!

Been looking at a few different bikes, mainly v twins as my last was an sv, settled on a rsv, which wasn't really on my radar.... then I saw this and had to have it! Travelled 230 miles got there late, got lost on swindon and didn't make it back till 1.30 am, in non winter gear, colder than I have ever been in my life, temp dropped to -1!......but worth it!!

Excellent. They really are addictive, these bikes. Like no other bike I've owned.

Yep starting to get used to it and liking it! Got some friends in falkirk, they live kind of on a hill where you can see the football ground, you'll probably know where I mean, can't remember the name of the area myself

That could be anywhere on a hill near the football ground.....lol!!!. Shieldhill?. Laurieston?. Redding?.

Lol..... its Laurieston now u mention it. Like when Americans ask if you know the ..queen .. do you know a Derek mid 50s self employed roofer lol

Ah right, yeah bit difficult at times, I'm in the motor trade and have days off during the week, you ever get up to willingham woods?
