Just a quick hello from the newest member of your forum.

Based in sunny Stoke-on-Trent UK and ride a 2007 model, Tuono R Daytona edition with some simple mods.

:)

G'day Cannon, and welcome to the Zone.

Some pics would be good mate.

Hello Cannon. Is that a reference to any appendages?? I guess I should go with Studbudgie then....
*sigh*

Welcome to the **** show.

Welcome fella :) enjoy.

Watch out for the lunatics, i'm the only sane one in here :)

Did I tell you that my old Quill cans fit nicely in place of the new ones :thumbup
Hence no need to feck about because they passed at Oulton before :thumbup

Hello Cannon. Is that a reference to any appendages??

No it's usually preceded by the word "Loose" :)

As for pics, how about this, taken before the cans were cored and shortened.

Nice bike loose.
Are you using Pilot Power 2's there? If yes, what do you think of them

That is my favourite Tuono paint job. Period.

And I love my Pilot2s. Good traction in cooler (the majority) of riding here and aces in the wet, I have found. Didn't have as much luck with the Corsa IIIs. For sticky I really liked my Dunlops.

I had dunlop roadsmarts on the 636 and found them quite good, but the rennsports are about shagged so I'm looking for ideas of what to try next

In that picture it was on the standard fit Dunlops, but they have now been changed over to a set of Bridgestone BT015's which came my way very cheap :)
Come next year I reckon I will be fitting some Pilot Road 2's as all the reviews I read are saying they are the mutts nuts.

My rear Pilot Power2ct likes to be well warmed up. My front Rennesport is still hanging in there, and has never given any cause for alarm.
For my next set, I will try Metzler Racetec. A racer mate of mine (he raced RSVs) swears by them as being super sticky, even in cooler conditions.

BTW - sweet colour Canon. I ordered mine in that scheme, but it was only for the '07 here in OZ. So I ended up with the faster, black scheme I now love anyway.
