today i sat on a new uk spec (dont know if there are any differences country to country)tuono v4.
booked test ride for next week.
1st thing was how much better it looks in the flesh than in pictures.
not sure about mat paint.
the seat is a lot higher than my current fz1 im a bit tippy toes on the tuono.
seat also feels like a concrete block filled with foam and covered in vinyl.
fz seat feels soft but on a long ride it turns out to be a bit of a board.
so is the seat an issue?(dealer says there is a gel seat option)anyone tried it?
foot pegs are way better than on the fz not too low.
other than that i cant wait to get on one.

Welcome mate,
I don't have any issues with the seat to be honest.
You maybe could try an aftermarket gel one that you could specify to lower the ride height slightly.

The seat is a rock, but strangely not too uncomfortable.

I'm approx 5ft 8 and am on my tip toes. Only annoying when I can't get enough purchase to wheel the bike backwards up any kind of incline. I have to get off and push.

The bike is amazing with its achilles heel being the fuel range. You get to learn to plan where the petrol stations are lol

I've just got rid of the FZ1 for a 2009 Tuono, Totally agree with all of that especially the petrol station bit Ha ha

Crackin ride though :thumbup No regrets at all !

seat does feel hard on the v4 but u get used to it.i,m 6ft1 and 16 stone and find the bike needed a taller screen .but hey wot a bike grin factor massive..v4 growl is mad

i rode a 06 fz1 for 40,000 hard miles. just got the v4. huge difference in every category; i actually find the tuono more comfortable. and yeah, fuel range is my one/only druther....

Are you guys commenting on the same bike ? Only I thought the v4 wasn't around in 09 ?

No were not but I was just commenting on the Tuono in general, seat is hard..........petrol tank is a bottle top, but its still a great bike..........
