Hey all, Im looking to be a new Aprilia owner in the next couple of days, My last bikes were in order of K7 GSXR 1000, k5 GSXR1000 and an SP1, I loved the V twin and am itching to get back on one :) Im 31 y/o and from North Scotland.

Im looking at 2 bikes that are local to me, Any pointers on these would be spot on, Im trying to do as much research as possible about different spec models etc.

early bike is more raw in its power delivery ..later bike a bit japenesey if that makes sense .

later bikes suffer with stator probs ..

Cheers mate :)

Right then the earlier RSV Mille seems to be ticking all the boxes at the moment, Going to have a look in an hour or so, but think its gonna be the one :))

That's not cheap for a 2002. I'd expect a 2003 for that money (it has some worthwhile improvements over the 2002 especially on the rsvr)

Ah well done deal, I got the RSV Mille R for £3k, Its a minter :)

He going to deliver it to my house tonight at 1800 so hopfully the rain will stay away long enough to get a spin tonight, well chuffed :))

Cheers for the replies fellas :)

Ive counted my rear sprock and it has 42 teeth, Ive not had thg chance to count the front as yet, Where around can I order a bigger set of sprockets??

@Carbon Kid, by tbs i take it you mean my throttle bodies, any ideas where or what i can do to fix them??

I previously owned a SP1 so im not a complete newb to the V twins but it really is quite disappointing :(

Get Tash (Mark) on here to give you a price for sprockets. PM him, he's a nice guy and always keen to help.

This is his 'shop' http://rsvzone.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?64-Xtreme-Performance-Solutions
