Has anyone any info on some sort of insulating cover/standoff bracket to stop boot heels from melting on hot exhaust pipes?
I've seen them advertised somewhere,just can't remember where :dunno
I generally ride with the ball of my foot on the rest rather than the instep,this means my heel rests on the pipe or can dia.
This is not a problem on the SV as the pipe is double skinned and doesn't get that hot, however the pipe on the Mille gets VERY hot and I can see a melted heel in the offing.
