So did you take the exhaust totally of the bike, back to the headers to get the thermal wrap on it?

Just realised that the headers on mine are 60mm and don't leave any room, so i had to remove mine

Yo dude! Let's have some full shots of that bike!! Where did you get the carbon swinger covers and the frame bolt blocker dealies?? :dunno:confused

The ultimate question I haveis:

Can this be done with the pipes on the bike, or does it all need to come off back to the headers. Reason I ask is because if it all needs to come off it aint happening! :biggrin:biggrin

Ultimate answer, no, they do not need to come off unless you've got oversized ones like Badger(?).

Why the oversized pipes. I have an 04 same as badger, but my pipes are standard.

Is this part of a race system etc?

The system on mine is a full race system with a larger diameter all the way through, takes up more space than the standard exhaust.

OR you could get ya down pipes ceramic coated......much better than wrap as i've heard that can cause the pipes to crack..........:dunno

If its cast steel then id say it could crack as cast does'nt like to hold heat and wrapping it could cause it to temper and become brittle, but if its drawn steel which i think they are i could'nt see it cracking......but i could be wrong... its been known :thumbup:thumbup
