Some new leathers. Have been looking at alpinestars stuff but was way out of my price range and didn't fancy buying secondhand of fleabay!!

So i have brought a set of RST Rift leathers in black from bikegear.com, both jacket and pants came to £276, free delivery and 5% of your first order which i thought was bloody excellent for a new set of leathers! Anyone else own a set of these?? what is the fit and comfort like??

Very good buy Shep. RST leathers are good value in my opinion and the styling is bang up to date. They also sponsor James Whitham.

Like buying any set of leathers, the fit and comfort is all down to your own body shape, so it's always best to try a set on as fit and size varies between different manufacturers. They need to be tight without being uncomfortable as they will give over time

Well just have to wait for them to turn up and try them on. i have ordered my exact sizes so hopefully i'll be ok!!

Look carefully at the way the lettering RST is laid out....looks like the word FIST to me :)

Have you got them yet, and did they fit :dunno

I was trying some RST's on today these ones but the sizes were way out :eatcorn My Joe Rockets are a size 40 chest (i'm a 42") as they were the best fit at the time of buying them, but either too many pasties or the sweat has shrunk them so i need to replace them. I tried Arlen Ness but they look silly on me :biggrin (skinny legs) The RST's were really comfy fitting but the size i would need is 44" . You really need to try all brands for fitting sizes as they all fit differently :dunno

Going to try some more Joe Rockets in a bigger size as my old ones were the best fit for me last time i got some :thumbup might try the BKS too

just collected my M2M crowtrees, they are alot more than what you paid, but being 6'6 and 11 stone i cant buy off the peg...... thoroughly pleased with my buy, money well spent, super quality..... and not every man and his dog has them ( unlike Astars )

Have alpinestar boots and gloves think ive lined their pockets enuff

Crowtrees eh :devious were they made to measure and how much were they :dunno
