Harley Davidson has revealed its line-up for 2009, with the juicy news coming in the form of the new V-ROD Muscle.
With a 1250cc engine and 122hp at 8,500 revs/min, and with road grip on a 240mm tyre, the new VRSCF muscle bike is forging the way in the dragster category, in stark contrast to the arrival of the new Yamaha V-MAX.
Novelties include LED rear lights and indicators, shorter tail and round headlight, boxy airbos and radiator design, with two distinct side silencers. The handles are in alloy, with integrated instrumentation, and other elements include a hefty fork, Brembo brakes and new five-spoke wheels. The seat has been lowered, with forward pedals, and four colours are available: Vivid black, Brilliant silver, Blue denim and Sunglow red. This is some serious power, American style, selling for 17,199 USD.
The rest of the range reveals some novelties to the Touring model, with a redesigned chassis, new wheels, more powerful Brembo brakes, and a larger tank, all aimed at improving comfort for long-distance trips.
News is also coming from the CVO (Custom Vehicle Operation) division, adding some character with four models of the Screaming Eagle: Road Glide, Ultra Classic Electra Glide, Dyna Fat Bob, and Softail Springer.
In addition the roadcarvin.com site is announcing some incredible news: an official Harley Davidson trike based on the Ultra Glide Classic.
