Hard Luggage

Hi everyone I have been looking for hard luggage but alas it is impossible so I have invested my own play on the ventura system.
You know that system leaves the frame work directly behind the indicator lens and looks horrid like this.
So I have modded it
I welded the top part of the frame to the bottom I.e the sport rack to the main ventura frame.
Then cut the ventura main frame tube at the straight just after the last mount before the curve upwards and made a steel dowel and inserted it into the rear part and welded this up.
Finally the dowel now solids into the remainder of the tube that is on the bike. I drilled sideways through the tube and dowel and fitted an R clip and finally mounted a hard top box on the rack part of the frame.

I,ll try and add pictures if I know how to.
Now I have hard top box mounted on a frame that is also quick release for pleasing appearance.

yes goota do it and fed up with all my gear getting wet even though they say it is "waterproof" waterproof my Ar**.

Anyay only use it for touring but when in mad mode and most bank holidays no box. Yippie works for me.
never load yourself up with rucksacks or such like
