Hi one and all.
I'm Phil from Stoke on Trent UK. I originally tested the Caponord when it had just come out. Great bike but the surging and ride that firmed up so much after about 40 mph really put me off what should be a fine bike. After seeing the latest Rally at the NEC I was curious as to how things have panned out with the latest mapping. I must admit I am very happy with my Stelvio but a little less weight would make life that much easier. After I broke my leg in 2011 small bikes made life very uncomfortable after a couple of hours riding, I now need easy leg room, and not stretched out as per Harley! I would have liked to post you some pictures but having a camera but leaving the memory card in the pc. Bugger!

The Caponord won't be lighter than your Stelvio, it'll be much better, just not lighter.
I picked up my new Capo about a month ago and I've done 1500 miles or so now - no surging at all and the ride is whatever you want it to be. I tend to leave it in fully auto to let the gadgetry take care of everything but you can play with the options electronically to stiffen or soften the ride and handling.
