Off to Griffs tomorrow for a service, fork seal and clutch jet

And hopefully some info as to why I have no confidence in my front end

What a superb experience Griff is a top bloak and my bike feels like it should :thumbup

Cheers, will stick with my current guy. Tamworth ain't worth travelling too - even if he can turn water into wine lol

griff sure knows what hes doing and is the only person i will let touch my bike if i cant do it my self worth the 200 mile round trip just for the day out haha

Thanks, I was just wondering but my current place are specialists too - need to speak to them to double check they know Aprilia which I am sure they do as they just work on bikes and have succeeded with every bike I have ever owned. To go to Griffs means a day off work, a 180 mile round trip which just isn't worth it for me.

Griff visits owners from Devon/ Cornwall all the way up to deepest darkest Scotland. From Essex, Kent and Surrey over to Liverpool and Manchester. We all go and show our gratitude on the first weekend in September at his 'open day'

Griff really does know more about Aprilias than anyone. A 'bikeshop' even an Aprilia dealer may not bother to check the back torque limiter tube isn't blocked. They may put it the wrong size oil filter (there's two lengths and only way to tell is by knowing the different caps. Griff has the correct axone that diagnoses faults, etc. i've seen lots of silly mistakes from all the service days I've had at my house. Aprilias aren't the same as every other bike, even the oil level check is different to your average Honda, Kwak, etc.

Basically your local garage will service your Aprilia, and it may run fine, but It'll never 'sing' like it will when Griff's had a look at it. I'm in Essex and I wouldn't trust anyone ever again.

Does anyone know when Griff will be coming to Essex again? Im in need of some TB Syncing and a general look at my newly aquired 02 RSV.

Sorry dude, not got any plans. I did two in March. I could put the word out and if you let Griff know he might be doing one in Kent or something.

Yeah mate that would be good. Its a shame my office for work is in Tamworth not that i go there much, but i do have to go next tuesday/wednesday. Dont really want to ride all the way up there though !! Although im not a 100% i wouldnt do it !!

Of course its good. It Was a great idea to start doing the open day. Wonder who thought of that then. Ahem
