Right team I've just got off the phone to Griff and he's keen to come to Pompey for an Uber Fettling session provided there's enough interest:doug
We are thinking of the week after next (10th august on)
so roll up roll up and get your names in and preferred dates so I can ring him back and get him down:thumbup

Sounds good, the sooner the better for me. I'm thinking Tuesday 11th if that's ok with everyone or if not let me know and I'll ring. Just need to give enough notice :eatcorn

yep tues the 11th good for both of us ,i'll confirm what robs after later but i think a tune up/rear sets [griffs] and brake pads but i will let you know mate ...will we need travel insurance and armed guards for pompey ???

I'd say no on travel insurance but a couple of armed to the teeth mercinaries wouldn't go a miss:fire

I may MAY be able to book the Tuesday off. If so I'll have a tune up and valve clearance check.
If I do get the time off we could possibly do the day round mine got a garage and all the tools, I rememeber you saying you dont have a garage pompy-pimp? Just a though at the mo will see if I can get some time off work

i pm'd griff for an alarm rip out and i think he is going to axone my baby ,,,robs after a tune up,and front pads if time allows ,wo ist der pompey haus my freunde???? achtung ,achtung spitfuere ....ooh sorry for a mo there i was back in 1940s germany ,wibble

I've brought one of those metal garage jobbies, 4M x 3M. Not massive but will keep us dry. Laying the floor for it today.

Would Griff have time to give my bike a co balance and a general once over to see what condition it is in i would also like a bit of suspension advice? What time do you expect to keep your workshop open till? I finish work at 3 on tuesday and will be in havant so not too far away. Cheers, Alan.
