Griff stickers (FINAL DESIGN POLL)

number 2 would have the phone number and web addy on if it was chosen, of course. Any of the designs can be changed slightly so do keep giving input. I've chosen 2 of course, but would like someone to put the phone number and web addy in.

8 would be my second choice but without the griff bit on as people would think it's my name! Perhaps change it to 'i've been griff'ed'?

I think the most important thing is that we honour Griff's request for a chequred flag something or other to be included, failing that what about a picture of a cup of tea and a jaffa cake ?

love the cup of tea and jaffa cake idea. Maybe it could be incorporated? I would have liked an 'i've been griff'ed' sticker with a caricature of the pony tailed genius on it, mouth stuffed full of jaffa cakes but i haven't the skill to draw one!

Ok, I voted 5 as I think it would suit more bikes/colours etc.

I was going for 8, but I can see that people not in the know may think Griff was the rider.

Great idea and I'm glad people supported it,once you've had a brush with the Dealer network system you quickly realise Griff is someone who deserves to be supported by all Aprilia riders.

How / when / who do I send money to ?

you're right in the first post it says 30 by 150. width would go right across my '01 screen and 30 high sounds a bit low! Would have thought it'd be more like 50 high?

I think you should make another one, a cross between 6 and 8. 6 color scheme and 8 design and a checker flag, since Griff kinda wanted one.

No.6 for me. Looks the part. Like the idea of griff giving out his own versions though. Would be more a show of who has had work done by him. What does griff think?

guys im a bit worried about this size issue, at 150 x 30mm some of the text on the designs is going to be 4-5mm max + some of the designs are going to need to be more like 50-60mm high which doubles all materials, ink etc, dont worry im not changing the price etc...lol..just this is a business sticker for griff thats got to pull customers in for him

We need to nail the design ideas down:

1. Size..if the text is too small you just wont see it..
2. What is Griff looking for..whats his ideas?...what was he wanting?
3. Location on peoples bikes (if you put a complex 30mm sticker on a belly pan you wont see it)

1000 stickers is a lot to produce if you get it wrong, im just bringing up a few questions, i do this all day everyday and have come across things that have been rushed through a bit and mistakes have been made..

Im not fussed who or what artwork is used, ill produce what you guys want just something to think about,

And yeah im an arse...:thumbup

Fair points Oli, I think the plan was to settle on a design and then finalise that one:dunno (as long as it's number 8:thumbup)

as you say you do this day in day out and we are novices who just want stickersirate so any advice is much appreciated:thumbup

Pompers: When I submitted this poll mate, I think the choices for closure were after 3 days, 7 days, or indefinitely (but I`m not 100% on this without opening another one).

Anyway, I felt that 3 days was too short, as some people may have pledged money a few days ago, then gone working away/on holiday etc for a week, say, and subsequently not been given the chance to vote.

As for a week, I wondered if that was too long, and people would just lose interest, so in the end, I left it open indefinitely, as I think it will become clear when no more people are voting, whether that be after 3 days, 5 days...........etc.

Once it`s clear all the votes are in, then we should have the winner. :thumbup

Hi chaps / Lasses, no i've not run off with the money..

Had £114.68 so far into the Paypal account, so thanks everyone who has paid quickly..

I will give a more detailed account of Monies in by Friday, just a bit busy with a few worky / homey things for a few days..

Quite a few paying more than they first donated and others not even on the list wanting to pay in (e-mail you shortly), so thanks to all - Griffster Has A Mass Fan Base....
