Just had to let you all know about the level of service I have received from Griff, he's an absolute star! Posted last week about the issue I had with the triangle of doom and the ECU diagnostics code (P-6016, A-50) and, after checking all connections in the rear tail unit was still scratching my head, not knowing what was wrong:banghead
I sent Griff an email and he rang me within 5 minutes and has sorted the problem:thumbup
Turns out there is nothing wrong with the bike, it is the way the Meta alarm has been installed! Guy I bought it off said I had to put the key in, turn it and then press the alarm button to turn it off before starting the bike. This was the issue. I was engaging the ignition which was allowing the ECU to perform its checks before switching the alarm off. Griff told me to turn the alarm off before putting the key in the ignition and Bingo, NO TRIANGLE OF DOOM:clap
Thanks Griff, I owe you :cheers
I am trying to get to Cadwell on 18th to get to meet some of you guys. I'm not booked on the track day but Cadwell's not far from me so hoping to get there to watch you all'
