Hi all

What a great forum! I've had my 03 RSV-R for 5 years and have only just come across you lot. You have so many great ideas and tips to make a great bike better.

Top tip so far has got to be the 2004 Fireblade side-stand. Needless to say they are like hens teeth on ebay now us RSVers have found a use for them but what a mod:thumbup

I have also done the Yamaha starter solenoid swap and a new clutch oil jet arrived in the post this morning:biggrin

Fantastic!

Any tips on other lovely mods to play with gratefully received (mine's a road bike by the way)

Cheers

Phil

Welcome to the forum mate, great set of people on here. As for mods what do you have done so far?

So far a Akrapovic can, Power Commander, trick clutch slave cylinder, fireblade stand and then boring stuff like R&G crash bungs, ventura brackets for long trips. I've also home made a gel seat for the more bonkers trips. I did the Midlands to Portimao the whole way through France, Spain etc. in 2 1/2 days and sadly saw Nori fall off last Autumn so my arse was glad of it at the time!

One of the nice things about Mille's is loads of carbon, brembo's Ohlins as standard but it does reduce the potential for adding new toys

Better late than never, welcome. Get yourself a hooked air box, worth every penny really opens up the midrange:thumbup

Funny you should say that. I am booked in to see Griff on Friday to get hooked and a service. Yippee......Bit of a bonus of only being 20 miles from Tamworth.
